Flat nylon webbing is great for high abrasion applications. It is also preferred to use on humans or animals because it has a soft feel to it. The 1/2" Flat nylon has a breaking strength of 2775 lbs., and its thickness is .070" to .075". It is ideally suited for leashes, collars, leads, D-ring belts, etc. If you need a heavy duty material, yet lightweight at the same time then this is your webbing! Nylon webbing is not particularly good in applications around water because it stretches about 2% over time,when it gets wet. So a nylon strap will not stay tight in the rain or on a river trip. However, it is a fun color that you are sure to love.

Bag Strap 1" Flat Nylon

This strap is used to clip onto a bag or camera to either drape around your neck or hang off your shoulder.
Flat nylon webbing is the most popular choice for this strap because it has a "smooth feel" touch to it. When worn around the neck it will not cause any kind of discomfort as far as "digging" into your neck or a rough scratchy feeling.
