Welcome to V & V Bows - a.k.a. - "The Bow Palace" Let me introduce us. My name is Victor Sturm, and my wife's name is Vicki. We are from Dallas, Texas. I was raised by my maternal grandmother and mother. I give deference to my grandmother because she had the greatest impact on my life, and by default raised me. Both were seamstresses. I learned at an early age to handle, and use a sewing machine. I also grew-up with the knowledge that " if you can't find it, then make it yourself". Vicki also grew-up under similar circumstances with her mother. Vicki and I combed the malls, and craft shows for years looking for hair accessory products that were easy to use, versatile, durable, and reasonably priced. Needless to say - we didn't find any - so my oldest memories kicked in and reminded me to - "make it yourself" - and in 1993 we started designing a better product that looked fuller and was easy to use. They didn't too good at first, but as with all things, they got better as we practiced creating our product. We did just a couple at first for Vicki to wear to work. Not long after something odd happened, my wife's friends and the customers where she worked asked that important question - "Where did you get that bow?!" Well that was the beginning. Now we work at our jobs during the day, create our product at home at night, and do Arts & Crafts Shows when we can get off from our jobs. We show our products from as far northeast as Ohio to as far northwest Colorado, and of course Texas.
